Welcoming Noam Chomsky

We are pleased and honored to announce the joint appointment of Noam Chomsky, Laureate Professor in Department of Linguistics and Agnese Nelms Haury Chair in the Haury Program in Environmental and Social Justice, as Research Professor in Political Economy and Moral Science. Known worldwide as a founder of modern linguistics, Professor Chomsky joins the University community as part-time faculty to teach, give public lectures, and meet with students. Events featuring Professor Chomsky are under development and will be announced in the coming weeks.
